2. Filter time periods and display restrictions
6. What do the little human figures mean?
1. The views of the price calendar: Prices and Occupancy
There are basically 2 views in the price calendar.
1. Prices: In this view, you can see all prices of the individual room categories. Each column represents a day in the date calendar. In this way, the review and management of pricing is simplified.
2. Occupancy: If you want to find out what the occupancy rate is for the individual room categories, you can switch to this view.
2. Filter specific time periods or display restrictions
With the filter in the price table you have the following options:
1. Set the calendar period to a specific date so that you don't have to click through the months or simply view specific days.
2. Instead of all prices, display only the recommended prices. In this way, the processing of price suggestions in the selected period is simplified.
3. Display the restrictions. The line of restrictions is hidden by default so that it remains clear. However, the restrictions can be displayed at any time using the filter. (see in the video)
Important: After each change in the filter, you must click ‘Apply filter’ for the changes to take effect.
🆕 Function in the new price table
→ The selection of specific dates and the display of restrictions are now directly visible as separate buttons.
3. Select the rate to be displayed
To the left of ‘Actions’, you can use the drop-down menu to select the rate to be displayed.
The revenue rate is always displayed by default. However, a hotel may have more than one revenue rate. Rates derived from the revenue rate can also be displayed here.
The revenue rates are displayed directly in the drop-down menu.
Under ‘Changeable’, the possibly derived rates are displayed.
Information: The derived rates can be checked under ‘”Changeable’ to see whether the derivation is working correctly.
🆕 Function in the new price table
→ The current rate can be found here directly in the bar above the price table.
→ Click on the rate name to select ‘Changeable rates’ (usually linked rates or rates with configuration).
→ 🆕 In the new price table, rates with an asterisk ⭐️ can now be favoured. Favourite rates are displayed first by default.
4. The price detail view
The price overview at happyhotel has a detailed list of the key performance indicators, the current prices and the suggested prices that are displayed under ‘New price’.
a. Price history
The room categories can also be expanded to show when the last price change was made and by which user.
b. KPI analysis
The key performance indicators are listed again on the right side of the price overview, while the current values for the respective day are listed next to them.
c. Analysis of the booking curve for the day
Below this, the booking curve appears again to show the booking development of the last time and therefore make it easier to decide which price suggestions you would like to accept.
In the price detail view, it is also possible to compare competitor prices directly with your own prices and thus carry out a complete analysis without having to open another window.
d. Analysis of competitor prices for the day
The colours have no technical function or influence on the prices. They only serve to simplify visibility.
5. What does the colour scale at the bottom mean?
Here, the colours in the competitor line change.
The little human figures under the room categories show the settings for the standard occupancy. The number therefore indicates for how many people the price is currently being sent.
