How can I group my rates?

In happyhotel there is the option to create rate groups in order to sort all the rates stored in the PMS and create groupings. This option makes it possible to summarise different rates under a common denominator and present them more clearly and allows specific rates to be found quickly. However, the actual effect only becomes visible in the analysis, where the filter can analyse and arrange the data according to rate groups. The overall aim is to simplify the analysis and sorting of all rate codes.

The rate groups are quick and easy to create and have no effect on the PMS; they are purely for analysing and sorting in happyhotel .

This means that the individual rates can be manually assigned to the respective rate group. Of course, the categorisation of the rate codes is entirely up to you, depending on which factors of a rate are to be made relevant for sorting. Whether these factors should be added services such as breakfast or the cancellation period for rates is deliberately left open here.
