E-mail reports

With e-mail reports, you have a summary of your key figures directly in your inbox

Creating an e-mail report

Would you like to keep an eye on your key figures directly by e-mail? Then our e-mail reports are just the thing for you.

With happyhotel, you can easily check your hotel’s key figures and keep an eye on your plans.

Create daily, weekly or monthly reports and select the time at which they should be sent. All you need is an e-mail address.

This is how you can set up an e-mail report:

The structure of the e-mail report

a. Your most important key figures

Under the most important key figures, you receive the following for the specified period (daily, weekly or monthly):

→ The sum of the revenue

→ Total number of occupancies, cancellations

→ The pick-up is the sum of all bookings (unlike overnight stays!)

→ The average for RevPar, ADR, occupancy

To the right of the current key figures, the previous period is also displayed so that you can quickly compare your values. The comparison period is based on the selected interval (daily, weekly, monthly).

If €0 bookings exist, they are removed when calculating the ADR. Therefore, the calculation occupancy x ADR = revenue sometimes may not lead to the desired result.

b. Your pick-up from yesterday

→ Yesterday's pick-up shows you the total of all overnight stays (other than bookings!)

c. Preview for the next x months

You can set the time period for the forecast as soon as you drag the widget into your report:

Analysing the data

→ The +-0 values highlighted in blue next to the assignment show how the pick-up behaved yesterday. For example, if it says +2 -4, this means that 2 were picked and 4 were cancelled.

Unsubscribing from/deactivating e-mail reports

If you no longer wish to receive emails, you can simply deactivate the reports. To do so, you need to log in to your happyhotel account and go to the e-mail reports. There you can see all the reports you have created.

Click the button to deactivate the report. You can activate it again and again.

To delete the report completely, click the three dots to the left of your e-mail. Then click ‘Delete’.
