How can I set the prices for additional persons?

Information: With 3RPMS, Apaleo and Mews, these settings must be made through the PMS itself. In this case, happyhotel will only send the price for standard occupancy. It is therefore important that you check with Support so that no incorrect prices are sent.

Each room category has a standard and a maximum occupancy. If a room can be booked by more than one person, it is important that the prices for the additional persons are also entered. However, it is also possible that the standard occupancy for a room is set to two people, but the room can still be booked by one person. There may then be a discount.

♦ Adaptation for an empty bed: Discount for one person if booked below standard occupancy. You do not need to enter a negative number here. Please note that in the case of a single occupancy or an occupancy that is less than the standard occupancy, the breakfast portion will also be deducted if one is deposited.

♦ Adaptation for an extra bed: Surcharge for one person if booked above the standard occupancy.

Tip: If you click ‘Test configuration’, you can see the prices (based on the basic price) for the person-dependent occupancy. This helps you to check before you send the rates to the PMS.
